Rachna’s leadership coaching and consulting experience spans working with CEO and senior executive levels across industries such as finance, technology, energy and retail & across geographies. She brings a focus on multi-national and multi-cultural environments. Her areas of expertise include management of change and navigating transitions; including external environmental change, organisational and culture change and personal career transitions. She has coached several CEO’s transitioning into role for the first time or into a different geography. She works with data to generate critical insights that are most relevant to individuals in their specific business and life contexts. She extends her assessment and coaching practice to include coaching executive teams.

Rachna’s previous experience in investment banking and management consulting in Mumbai, then Russia, grounds her leadership strategy work in commercial realities. She has managed P&Ls in several roles, led a team development business, developed a program for women leaders and entrepreneurs, and taught courses on International Business and Leadership for management programs. She made the transition to Leadership Strategy following her experience of working in different social and cultural contexts and brings understanding of how race, gender, nationality and ethnicity impact individual, and organizational effectiveness.

Her broader experience includes working with entrepreneurs, and leaders in the education & development sectors, including in the area of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She has lived and worked in India, Europe and now the US. Prior to moving to New York, Rachna led YSC’s India business, working closely with global clients as well as large promoter driven conglomerates to enable their leadership succession and strategy.

Rachna is an Economics graduate and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; She is a Fellow of the Sumedhas Academy for Human Context and certified in a range of multi-rater and psychometric assessments.

Outside of work, she is exploring life in post pandemic New York with her well travelled Labrador Elmo. A long-time student of yoga, and parent to two thoughtful young adults, she is interested in conscious and sustainable business and living. She serves on the Board of a non profit working with women and CSA.
