Modern Slavery Statement
This statement has been published by Yukon Topco Limited in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by the YSC group (“YSC”) to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
OUR BUSINESS
YSC operates globally as a premier independent provider of consulting services and advisory in the field of leadership strategy. The parent company of YSC is Yukon Topco Limited, which has its head office in the United Kingdom.
OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
As a provider of consulting services, YSC does not operate in an industry where modern slavery is prevalent. Its suppliers are primarily concerned with the running of office premises (e.g. cleaning) and the supply of technology, infrastructure and other support required by YSC to serve its clients (e.g. IT, telecoms and professional services). We therefore consider YSC’s overall risk of modern slavery to be low.
OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
YSC has implemented various internal policies which reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
YSC remains vigilant for any suspected activity which could be deemed to be “slavery” or “human trafficking” and has in place systems to ensure that:
- All relevant national employment legislation is complied with;
- The correct employment procedures are implemented such that employees have a safe environment in which to work; and
- Whistle-blowers receive adequate protection and that all such reports are fully investigated, and appropriate remedial actions taken.
FURTHER ACTIONS
YSC remains committed to improving its practices to ensure there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in its business or supply chains. YSC will also assess its approach to managing such risks on a periodical basis.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes YSC’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2019. It was approved at a Board meeting of the Directors of YSC on 18 November 2020.
