Anita has 18 years’ experience in Leadership Development at YSC including CEO assessment, executive coaching, top team development and leadership strategy across a range of organisations and industries, and is based in YSC’s London office. Her primary focus is to help senior executives maximise their potential and the potential of their organisation. She is a passionate advocate of diversity, helping organisations to celebrate and value the differences in their people to fully utilise all talent, creativity and innovation, and currently heads up our global diversity and inclusion practice. She is skilled at assessing, coaching and nurturing talent, helping both the individual and the organisation to develop in a healthy and meaningful way. Her coaching style is insightful and provocative, yet highly supportive, leading to lively engagement and positive change.
Anita is a psychologist, an ICF accredited coach and a corporate member of the Institute of Personnel Development. She spent her earlier career in the non-profit sector, working with communities in East London helping to bring about government policy change in housing, immigration and race relations. As a social entrepreneur, Anita founded and headed up a charity for homeless black women and children experience domestic violence. Anita is a mother who believes strongly in the importance of achieving a good work/life balance and having fun in her professional life. She is married to a human rights lawyer and lives in North East London with their two teenage children and cat. She likes the cat.
