Mark Hoffarth

Mark is an incoming data analysis consultant at the YSC New York location. He specializes in using quantitative analyses to understand how people think, feel, and behave.

Mark completed his graduate degree training at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. He obtained an MA in 2013 and a PhD in 2017 Social and Personality Psychology. His studies focused on using statistical modeling to understand how both individual psychological factors and social factors influence how people think and behave. Over the past three years, Mark has conducted research at New York University and taught statistics and psychology courses at Wesleyan University. During the pandemic, he pivoted to data analyst consultancy, assisting clients with complex analyses and training clients to make the best use of their data.
