Louise Finlayson

Louise has over 15 years’ experience within executive assessment, coaching, and people strategy. She brings expertise from across industries and cultures, having lived and worked in both the UK and the Middle East. Her clients have included CEOs and leadership teams across a range of FTSE 100 listed companies, entrepreneurs and rapid growth companies, and high-performance athletes and sports teams. Her experience providing psychological expertise to pilots and business leaders at a world-leading airline has given her in-depth understanding of the challenges leaders face when the stakes are high. More recently, she was Chief People Officer at People’s Energy and was responsible for leading the people strategy for the business to develop an employee-oriented, high-performance culture, aligned with the strategic priorities of the business.

Clients value her down-to-earth, pragmatic and non-judgmental approach, and her ability to adapt to their unique context whilst providing robust challenge (and often injecting some humor when its needed!). She holds Master’s degrees in Occupational and Performance Psychology, and is a member of the British Psychological Society. She has completed ICF accredited coaching training and is qualified in a variety of psychometrics.

She has a passion for working with organisations to develop meaningful, relevant and practical solutions to promote wellbeing-focused cultures which enable employees to thrive and find their performance edge. She is currently in training to become a Hinsta Performance Certified Coach, based on health & wellbeing focused methodology used in Formula 1 and other top-level sport and business organisations.

Outside of work, Louise loves to travel and stay active through running and cycling. She is a lover of the outdoors as well as real ‘foodie’ who is always on the lookout for new places try out!
