With over a decade of experience, Dr. Kristy L. Wanner has consulted globally, in the areas of productivity, organizational change, and digital transformation in both the private and public sector. Her experience extends to industries such as Retail, Hospitality, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, and Trade Associations.

She has a proven track record in people consulting with expertise in change management, cultural analysis, and employee engagement as well as supporting people’s relationship with systems and technology. Kristy has a strong understanding of how organizational culture and context shapes behavior and combines a business-focused approach with psychosocial insight to provide authentic feedback and recommendations.

Her consulting / coaching style is relational and solution-focused with an emphasis on sustainable and meaningful change through genuine connection, the illumination of patterns, and fostering paradigm shifts. As a trained professional counselor and sport psychology consultant, Kristy regularly draws on this experience to guide her work with leaders and teams in the corporate environment.

Kristy joins YSC as a Senior Solutions Consultant, focusing on team effectiveness, culture, and sustainability. She works collaboratively with consultants and clients to develop innovative and research-led solutions to leadership challenges. She offers a unique perspective by applying an integrative lens of organizational health, systems thinking, and gestalt principles to business challenges.

Kristy holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, a graduate certificate in Organizational Analysis & Change and a PhD in Health Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her dissertation research focused on the relationship between leadership behaviors, health, and employee engagement and solidified her desire to positively impact leaders as a channel to positively impacting the masses. She’s a published author, has spoken at 20+ conferences on addiction and systematic policy change, and served as an adjunct professor in a business school for over 5 years.

Kristy’s had a life-long curiosity about how leadership and cultural nuances impacts the human experience and is passionate about supporting greater integrity and equality in business decisions, processes, and behaviors, especially in the sustainability space. Outside of work, Kristy enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring architecture, traveling, gardening, attempting yoga, as well as quality time with friends, family, and her precious cat.
