Senior Solutions Consultant
Kate brings extensive experience of partnering with organizations to define their leadership strategy, optimize their succession planning, develop talent and harness individual and team performance. She is passionate about helping organizations create the right conditions, culture and leadership to achieve not just their strategy but to create value for society more broadly. She is fascinated by understanding individuals and organisations and driven by helping them to operate at their best. She combines a business-focused approach with psychological insight. Particular interests relate to accelerating individual development, DEI and sustainability.
After 9 years as a leadership strategy consultant in YSC’s EME business, Kate became a Senior Solutions Architect within YSC’s Leadership Lab. She partners with consultants and clients to develop innovative and evidence-based solutions that tackle leadership challenges in a systemic, contextual and future-focused way. She is passionate about developing solutions which drive sustainable change. She has played a key role in developing YSC’s propositions for C-suite and Board levels. She has published articles about CEO succession planning and contributed to CEO succession speaking events.
Prior to working at YSC, Kate ran the London Business School’s Behavioral Research Centre, and was a published psychology researcher, following an earlier career as a communications expert.
As a coach, Kate’s approach is insightful and facilitative. She helps to create the conditions for her coachees to deepen their self-insight, connect to their purpose, unlock personal and leadership change. Coachees appreciate the way she balances support with challenge to help them accelerate their development and navigate leadership transitions. They value her genuine care, attentiveness and psychological depth.
Following an MA from the University of Cambridge, Kate gained distinctions in a Graduate Diploma and an MSc Occupational Psychology. She has a Certificate in Child Counselling Skills, a Certificate in Climate Coaching, holds an AOEC Practioner Diploma in Executive Coaching and is an Associate Certified Coach (ICF). She is a Member of the British Psychological Society.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and seeing the world through the eyes of her inquisitive and energetic children.
