Director

Karen brings over 20 years of experience in global leadership consulting. She has broad sector experience across the FTSE 100 and other high growth organizations. She particularly focuses on leadership and talent strategy, talent identification and succession, executive selection and development, and culture change.

During her career at YSC, she has led global client partnerships and currently leads a team of consultants in the Europe business. Through coaching and one-to-one executive assessment, she brings deep insight and empathy combined with a highly pragmatic approach. She not only supports leaders to make the shifts they need to realize their full potential, but she also helps and challenges to translate insight into stretching action. She is also motivated to help leaders unlock purpose that creates connection and positive impact on planet, community and their customers.

She works with CEOs, C-Suite and senior leaders through periods of transition. She particularly enjoys working with leaders in large complex businesses and understands the challenge of shaping strategy and leading change. Overall, she works systemically at the individual, team and organization level.

Prior to joining YSC, Karen worked in-house in Manufacturing and Energy in HR roles across talent, leadership, resourcing, and organization development. Karen has a first-class degree in African Studies (BA) and in Psychology (BSc), a Masters in Occupational Psychology (MSc) from the University of London and a Masters (MSc) in Coaching Psychology from the Metanoia Institute. She is a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

Outside of work she loves travelling and visiting museums and galleries.
