David partners with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to assess, build, and develop Executive teams that drive value creation. He specialises in the design and implementation of leadership strategy that fits business needs and underpins future growth. His work spans the areas of leadership assessment and coaching up to C-suite level, Executive team development, talent identification, and leadership analytics. Before working exclusively with Private Equity clients, he partnered with some of the world’s largest corporations and a range of FTSE100 companies across multiple sectors; including Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, Oil and Gas, and Construction.

He has an MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck, a GDip in Psychology from UWL, an Integrative Psychotherapy qualification from Minster, and a BA (Hons) in American Studies from the University of Manchester. He is also a Professionally Accredited Coach and Systemic Team Coach by the AOEC (Academy of Executive Coaching). Prior to joining YSC, David worked as an analyst in the EMEA Finance team for the professional services firm Willis Towers Watson. David also has experience within Higher and Secondary School Education, which first sparked his interest in developing others.

With a background in Occupational Psychology and Psychotherapy, David brings a deep, behaviourally-focused approach to his assessment and coaching practice.   He partners with leaders to understand the professional impact of early experiences and personality, and to improve performance through behavioural change. In his spare time, David loves reading, playing sport, keeping abreast of current affairs, and exploring London. Having played basketball to a national level as a junior, David has pursued coaching, gaining his level 1 qualification and looking to progress further. He is also an avid traveller, having spent time working abroad and living in different continents.
