Bridget is a Managing Consultant for YSC. Her coaching and consulting approach are enhanced by her experience as a former Chief People Officer and senior leadership team member which allows her to leverage in depth understanding of critical business issues that keep executives up at night. She has steep experience in creating and executing all aspects of HR strategy and serving as an executive sponsor for DE&I strategy.
Bridget’s coaching philosophy challenges leaders to focus on objective behaviors rather than subjective interpretations in effort to build a solid foundation of trust and alignment. Her goal with each encounter is to leave the situation better than she found it meeting her clients where they are in the moment, guiding them on their journey to achieve their personal and career goals, and achieving business results with inspired teams. She is particularly enthusiastic about coaching and mentoring women across their professional journeys emphasizing how to organize their career and personal aspirations to live their best lives.
Bridget has published blogs on leadership topics including Leading Remote Teams, Managing Remotely, and Team Culture. She also co-authored a chapter in The Behavior Breakthrough; Leading your Organization to a New Competitive Advantage focusing on drivers of sustainable high performance.
Bridget has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and both a master’s and doctorate in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from West Virginia University. She also holds a certification in Diversity and Inclusion from eCornell and an Inclusive Culture Workplace specialty credential from the Society for Human Resources Management. Prior to joining YSC, she was the Chief People Officer for a global strategy execution consultancy as well as a leadership development and change management consultant and coach in various industries including energy, mining, higher education, consumer packaged goods, banking, and pharmaceuticals.
