Angus has 20 plus years of experience working within the fields of Leadership and Organisation development working both as an external consultant as well as internally with a variety of blue-chip organisations. He has worked within financial services, telecoms, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, public sector as well as executive education sectors and holds a Masters Degree in Organisational Behaviour form Birkbeck College.

His work has included working with executive teams to re-set organisational strategy, identify and develop critical organisational capabilities, design the infrastructure and interventions required to develop key talent populations. He also has considerable experience of coaching senior leaders both individually and collectively to support the development of the capabilities necessary to successfully execute on the organisational goals and strategies.

Angus is particularly interested in the notion of Adaptive Leadership and how he can best support ‘leaders’ in embodying this in their daily practice. i.e. asking those challenging questions which we really need to face into as opposed to offering overly simple solutions and often well-intentioned but ultimately misguided reassurance.

Angus enjoys anything that involves sport food or walking the dog, who strangely has similar interests. Additionally he is a strong advocate for adopting a positive psychological approach seeking to play to strengths wherever possible.
