Towards gender diversity in the Boardroom

In this edition of The Business Times’ “Views from the Top” column, thought leaders in various industries predict how corporate Singapore might reach the target of 20 percent female directors in listed companies by 2020. Ambica Saxena, Director, Head of YSC Consulting Singapore and Hong Kong, explains that companies must recognize the active role they play in ensuring female employees are able to gain equal business and commercial exposure as their male counterparts. She went on to share that measures must be put in place to identify and develop women for senior leadership as early on as in their mid-careers.
