Stamp out ageism in the workplace

The Business Times’ “Views from the Top” column explored the following questions: “How do you see the move to enable older Singaporeans to stay employed for longer? What changes, if any, would your organization make in light of the upcoming increase in retirement age, re-employment age and CPF rates?”

According to Ambica Saxena, Director, Head of YSC Singapore and Hong Kong, organizations that cultivate and nurture a growth mindset will be more likely to succeed, as they embrace challenges and perceive mistakes as an opportunity to learn and improve.This begins with inclusive leadership, where leaders are encouraged to be curious, take risks and face challenges head-on, all while removing the fear of failure.
