'Luke Johnson: Blameless victim, or asleep on the job?

Luke Johnson, entrepreneur and former chair of Patisserie Valerie, opened up about the physical and mental toil he felt during the collapse of the café chain in his weekly column for The Times. In response to his transparent and honest letter, Sam Gilpin, Managing Director, Head of YSC Europe, penned a response for The Times about how Johnson shines a light on the dark side of entrepreneurship. As Sam shared in his note, “Beyond the obvious financial risks, leaders gamble with their reputations and well-being.
