Shelley is a Director in YSC’s Sydney office, having joined YSC in the London office in 2005. Passionate about evolving YSC’s coaching practices to stay at the forefront of a maturing profession, she is the Head of Coaching for Asia-Pac region. She supports a range of clients including Australian Financial Services and FTSE100 multinationals. She also runs the Australia’s office Not-for-Profit programme in partnership with Westpac. 

Shelley began her career in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, where she held the posts of Staff Officer Psychology and Base Psychologist. She specialised in organisational behaviour and aviation psychology. She was involved in peace-keeping deployments, performance coaching and Critical Incident management. In 2003, she moved to the UK where she initially worked in the public sector as a Learning and Development Manager.

Since joining YSC in 2005, she has worked closely with clients across the financial services, aviation, mining, retail and FMCG industries to develop talent and leadership solutions that meet their organisational needs. She is particularly interested in identifying and developing high potential individuals, and enabling senior leaders to increase their personal impact and be more authentic in their leadership.

Outside of work, she values time with her family, travelling and making the most of Sydney’s beautiful outdoors. She is also studying a Masters in Applied Science in Coaching part-time through the University of Sydney. She holds a Masters in Arts in Psychology from University of Auckland and a Certificate in Gestalt Psychology in Organisational Consulting from the Metanoia Institute of London.
