Rachna is a Director and Head of YSC India in YSC’s Mumbai office, having joined in 2013.

Rachna started her career in investment banking (DSP Merrill Lynch) and management consulting (Deloitte Consulting), having worked in Mumbai, India and then Russia and the CIS in the nineties. She also spent years working in the education sector – with students, teachers and school leaders.

In the last 8-10 years as a leadership coach and facilitator she has designed & delivered assignments across sectors including banking, consulting, education, energy, engineering, FMCG, IT, telecom and the social sector and across geographies/ nationalities including India, Pakistan, the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Singapore and parts of Europe.

Rachna previously lead a high value teaming and personal growth program for organizations (iDiscoveri Education), taught leadership and change management at a business school and at a leadership workshop for leaders of small enterprise. Working with women and organizations to enable flexible working opportunities is another passion.

Rachna has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, India and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (honours); Delhi University. She is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) for the Centre for Credentialing & Education, Inc. (CCE) and qualified faculty & coach from the Centre for Creative Leadership

A lot of Rachna’s interest and approach to individual development and personal and organizational leadership has been influenced by her work at the Sumedhas Academy for Human Context, where she is a Fellow.

Rachna has two teenagers who continually encourage her to face her fears and step out of her comfort zone. They also highly recommend her cooking skills. She has a labrador Elmo who has successfully transitioned her into a morning person!
