Getting off the Ground (1990 - 1995)
1990 – London
YSC is founded in London by Donald Young, Peter Samuel and Charlotte Chambers. Gurnek Bains and Ken Rowe go on to lead the business within the first year; Young, Samuel and Chambers leave the firm (with Young and Samuel staying on in non-executive roles).
Premier UK (1996 - 2000)
YSC grows steadily from its one office in London. The firm’s core assessment offering, the ‘EDP’ (Executive Development Profile) is increasingly sought after by organisations needing to make critical leadership decisions for recruitment and development.
Global Boutique (2001 - 2005)
YSC’s strategy event sets the scene for the future. A key strand emerging is global expansion. New offices open in:

Success to Significance (2006 - 2010)
In 2007 we published Meaning Inc in which, using in depth interviews and research, we asserted that the route to delivering exceptional results in the new world lies crucially in the creation of meaning. Throughout the book we explore how meaning can be created through an invigorating sense of purpose, unequivocal values, a sense of belonging and day-to-day leadership.
